2. Comprehensive Needs Assessment (CNA)

Based on data analysis (state assessments, campus benchmarks, attendance, and discipline), our greatest needs include:

  • Increase reading proficiency in grades 3–5.

  • Strengthen math problem-solving skills across grade levels.

  • Improve student attendance and engagement.

  • Increase family involvement and communication.


3. Schoolwide Reform Strategies

Our campus will implement the following evidence-based strategies:

  • Reading/ELA: Guided reading groups, literacy intervention programs, and integration of technology.

  • Math: Hands-on math centers & small group instruction.

  • Attendance: Incentive programs, parent conferences, and consistent monitoring.

  • Social-Emotional Learning (SEL): Morning meetings, counselor-led lessons, and restorative practices.


4. Professional Development

Teachers and staff will receive ongoing training in:

  • Differentiated instruction and small group teaching.

  • Data-driven instructional planning.

  • Culturally responsive teaching strategies.

  • Effective technology integration.


5. Parent and Family Engagement

To strengthen the home-school connection, the campus will:

  • Host family literacy and math nights to support learning at home.

  • Provide parent workshops on supporting students academically and socially.

  • Share regular updates through newsletters, Parent Square, Remind, and the school website.

  • Maintain an open-door policy for parent involvement.


6. Evaluation of Plan

The effectiveness of this plan will be monitored through:

  • Student achievement data (district benchmarks, STAAR results).

  • Attendance and discipline reports.

  • Parent and student surveys.

  • Staff feedback during PLCs and leadership meetings.

The plan will be reviewed quarterly by the Site-Based Decision Making (SBDM) Committee and adjusted as needed.
