At Looscan Elementary, we believe in the power of collaboration between educators, parents, staff, and community members. Our Shared Decision-Making Committee (SDMC) plays a vital role in shaping our school’s direction and ensuring every voice is heard when making important decisions.
The SDMC meets regularly to:

Encourage family and community engagement
The SDMC is made up of teachers, parents, non-instructional staff, community representatives, and the principal. Together, we work to support student achievement and school success.
