At Looscan Elementary , we are committed to supporting the whole child and their family—both in and out of the classroom. That’s why we encourage our school community to connect with HISD Sunrise Centers, a district-wide initiative offering free wraparound services to students and families.

Sunrise Centers provide access to essential resources, including:

  • Food and clothing assistance

  • Housing and rental support

  • Health care and immunizations

  • Academic support and more

These centers are open to all HISD students and families, regardless of which school your child attends. With locations across the district, HISD Sunrise Centers are here to help meet your needs and remove barriers to student success.
